General questions

Question:		Does the journal provide complimentary copies of the publication to the authors?
Answer:		Yes, it is. Electronic copies of the articles are sent to the authors by e-mail.
Question:		Can the complimentary copies be sent by post to the authors resident elsewhere?
Answer:		No, complimentary copies are not sent by post and can only be received at the editorial office.

Time of publication

Question:		What is the minimum time from submission of the article to its publication?
Answer:		The submission to publication time is at least 10 months.
Question:		Can the publication be accelerated? What should be done for that?
Answer:		No, it is impossible to accelerate the publication. The English version is published simultaneously with the Russian one. The publication process follows a rigorous production schedule, which must be adhered to.

Guidelines for manuscript submission

Question:		Where should the Publishing and Copyright Transfer agreements be submitted?
Answer:		Agreements as pdf files signed by all co-authors must be submitted by e-mail together with all materials of the article.
Question:		Can a manuscript be rejected if it is not prepared in accordance with the rules for preparation of manuscripts?
Answer:		Yes, in this case the paper can be rejected.

Question:		Is Thermal Engineering indexed in Scopus?
Answer:		Yes.
Question:		Is Thermal Engineering included in WoS database?
Answer:		Since 2021, the journal Thermal Engineering has been indexed in the Web of Science database.
